‘Featured!’ is a play told entirely through jazz-backed beat poetry that explores misinformation, corporate monopolies, and the replacement of the human experience in media for billionaire-backed agendas. It follows three compelling characters: Walt - a cruciverbalist, Egbert - a puff-piece journalist, and Felix - an astronomer-feigning-astrologist - as they experience in real-time the downsizing of their local newspaper in the midst of an acquisition from a conservative media conglomerate.
